Pakistani dramas are showcasing some lesson-learning stories to break certain stereotypes of society. It is a power pack project that will deal with issues regarding age differences in marriage in society. Jhoom on GEO TV is produced under 7th Sky Entertainment by Abdullah Kadwani and Asad Qureshi.
Details about Jhoom
Jhoom is a project of HAR PAL GEO by Abdullah Kadwani and Asad Qureshi. Ali Faizan has directed this project and Hashim Nadeem Khan has written the script. The makers have released the first look of it and it looks promising.
It looks like an unconventional love story between a couple where the heroine is elder than the hero. To break this societal convention, other dramas like Dobara have tried to portray a happy marriage with age differences. Now we are going to have another passionate love story between the gorgeous Zara Noor Abbas and the young and handsome Haroon Kadwani.
Poster Reactions
As soon as the poster of Jhoom came out, it received a lot of backlash due to the age difference between Zara Noor Abbas and Haroon Kadwani. Viewers started criticising the producers over a mismatched couple. They trolled Zara for being elder than Haroon and the producers need to cast the couple more seriously.
Storyline
However, as soon as the teaser came out, it halted all the comments because it actually talked about a serious concern regarding marriage. The first teaser has set the internet on fire and everyone is looking forward to watching this rollercoaster of intense emotions.
We are going to witness a couple passionately in love with each other but society could not see them happy together. It revolves around Haroon (Aryan) and Zara (Maryam) who have seen madly in love with each other and their hearts beat for one another. The problem is that Maryam is older than Aryan which is not accepted by society.
Aryan with his young intensity cannot let go of Maryam. But, Maryam being practical thinks about the impracticality of their relationship. The teasers open up in a beautiful setting along the coastline, under the moonlight, and between heavy rainfall. All of the settings intensify the emotions of romance, heartbreak, and sorrow.
It is filled with love, sorrows, tears, actions, and intensity. Will it all be worth it to unite the two? We got to wait till the release of Jhoom to find out whether their love will surpass the obstacles or will the two part ways. Let’s wait to find out whether love wins or society’s baseless stereotypes over age differences in society.
Cast
As far of now, we only know about Haroon Kadwani and Zara Noor Abbas as the main lead.
Zara Noor Abbas has made her return to the tv screen after Badshah Beghum. It was a different project which focused on the feudal system of Pakistan. Earlier, she has done many hit projects like Dharkan, Khamoshi, Deewar-e-Shab, Lamhay, Qaid, Phans, Ehd-e-Wafa, and many others. In this project, the fans are enthralled to look at her vigorous acting and actually feel her heartbreak and tears.
Haroon Kadwani is one of the underrated actors in Pakistan. He works only once a year for GEO TV and is usually accused of nepotism but his acting says otherwise. He did a project with Kinza Hashmi last year, Ruposh. It made it to the top of the trending list on YouTube in Pakistan. Before that, he also worked in another telefilm, Teri Meri Kahani, alongside Sehar Khan. It was also highly anticipated by the audience.
He brings passionate chemistry with every heroine he works with. His looks have lured a lot of fan girls and he is once again ready to make them all fall in love with him. This time there won’t only be young girls but elder ones who find hope in this new narrative of Jhoom.
Hopefully, Jhoom will release on Eid-ul-Fitr this year. Till then watch this teaser.
