ISLAMABAD: Member of the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) Shehzad Akbar said on Friday that article 62 and 63 of the constitution were not binding on the caretaker prime minister.
The ECP member said the constitution’s article 62 and 63 are only binding on individuals contesting for parliament. He added that there were no restrictions in the constitution regarding a dual national being appointed caretaker prime minister.
