KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has proposed fives names for the slot of caretaker Chief Minister in Sindh, Dispatch News Desk (DND) reported on Friday.

Those nominated by the MQM for the top Sindh slot in the caretaker government include Justice (retd.) Nasir Aslam Zahid, Justice (retd.) Ghaus Muhammad, Munib Ahmed Khan, Haib ur Rehman and Justice (retd.) Mahmood Alam Rizvi.

On the other hand, Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) has forwarded the name of Justice (retd.) Qurban Ali for the position of caretaker CM of Sindh

Meanwhile, a joint sitting of PPP and MQM is underway in order to reach a consenus on the name of caretaker CM.
