KARACHI: Six nomination papers were filed on Wednesday for the offices of the Speaker and Deputy Speaker of the Sindh Assembly.

Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) has nominated Agha Siraj Durrani for the office of Speaker and Syeda Shehla Raza for the Deputy Speaker in the Sindh Assembly.

While Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has filed the nomination papers of Khawaja Izharul Haq for the office of the Speaker and Heer Ismail Soho for the Deputy Speaker.

Moreover, Irfanullah Marwat of the Pakistan Muslim League –Nawaz (PML-N) filed nomination papers for Speaker and Nusrat Bano Sehar Abbasi of the Pakistan Muslim League-Functional (PML-F) for Deputy Speaker.
