ISLAMABAD: Former Interior Minister Sindh, Dr Zulfiqar Mirza has decided to appear before Scotland Yard police in connection with the charges including money laundering and incitement to violence against Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chief Altaf Hussain.

It should be mentioned here that President Asif Ali Zardari who also is at present in London, yesterday telephoned to convince him against meeting Scotland Yard police with regard to Dr Imran Farooq murder case. However, sources in Mirza’s family revealed that he refused to obey President Zardari’s advice.

   

According to sources, Zulfiqar Mirza will meet Scotland Yard police today at 7:00 pm BST, as the British investigators requested him to reproduce the evidences, he had offered to present against the MQM and its chief Altaf Hussain back in 2011.
