NEW YORK: Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has welcomed Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s point of view during Pak-India talks at the sideline of UN Summit in New York.

According to sources‚ Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh expressed hope that Nawaz Sharif would succeed to bring Pak-India relations on track.

Singh said during the meeting Pakistan and India agreed to establish contacts between Director Generals of Military Operations on Line of Control for peace.

The Indian Prime Minister further said that steps would have to be taken to improve Pak-India relations.
