SocialKPK assembly passes The KPK Partnership (Amendment) Bill, 2015

PESHAWAR, Pakistan: Khyber Pakhtunwa Assembly Monday passed The KPK Partnership (Amendment) Bill, 2015 allowing the registrar to verify the documents of the foreigner partner through the government security agencies.

The house with Speaker Asad Qaiser passed the bill unanimously moved by Minister for Law Imtiaz Shahid Qureshi on behalf of Chief Minister.

   

The violator of the Act will be fine to the tune of rupees 5,00000 while the minimum fine will not be less than 10.000 rupees.

The Bill also allowed The Registrar to file a complaint against a firm or its partner in the civil court of the respective district against any person who signed a false statement.

The government desires to make amendment in the Partnership Act, 1932 for the purpose to cope with the present days requirement, statement of objects and reasons of the Bill added.

Earlier, the opposition members staged a walked out from the house after the chair did not entertain the privilege motion moved by an Opposition Member.

Later, The Speaker adjourned the session till Tuesday 1400 hours.
