ISLAMABAD: The Judicial Commission on judges’ appointment on Monday approved the name of Chief Justice of Sindh High Court (SHC) Justice Mushir Alam as Judge of the Supreme Court.
A meeting of the Judicial Commission was held in Islamabad on Monday under the chair of Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry and approved elevation of SHC Chief Justice Mushir Alam as the Supreme Court judge.
The Commission also gave approval for the appointment of Justice Maqbool Baqir as Chief Justice of Sindh High Court.
