MULTAN: Jamshed Dasti has decided to join Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Dispatch News Desk (DND) reported on Wednesday.

Dasti said that all issues have been resolved with the PTI and said that he will officially announce to join the cricketer-turned-politician Imran Khan-led PTI soon.

Jamshed Dasti won two National Assembly seats – NA-177 (Muzaffargarh-II) and NA-178 (Muzaffargarh-III) – as an independent candidate in the May 11 general elections. However, later he vacated his seat of NA-177 which his brother Muhammad Javed Khan Dasti lost to Ghulam Noor Rabbani Khar of Pakistan People Party (PPP) in the by-elections held on August 22.
