ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Newly elected Mayor of Islamabad Metropolitan Corporation (IMC) Sheikh Ansar Aziz on Tuesday said that the federal capital would be purged from all kinds of encroachment.

Talking to APP, he said, “Encroachments in the federal capital would not be tolerated and efforts would be made to make the city clean and beautiful.”

   

He said that the citizen of the capital would soon feel the difference.

“Encroachments would be demolished in Islamabad city with consent of the market committees,” he added.

He said, provision of clean drinking water, beautification of city and smooth flow of traffic would be top priority of the city government.

He said that all the problems of Islamabad city would be resolved on war footing basis.

He said fire brigade department of Capital Development Authority (CDA) would be re-organized on modern lines.
