ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Saturday proposed the name of Justice (retd) Ejaz Chaudhry for the slot of Chairman National Accountability Bureau (NAB).

The prime minister proposed the name during his meeting with Leader of the Opposition in National Assembly Syed Khursheed Shah over name of new Chairman NAB for the second day in Islamabad on Saturday.

The two leaders also discussed the name of Justice (retd) Mian Ajmal for the coveted slot which was proposed by the opposition on Friday.

Later talking to the media persons‚ the opposition leader said he has no serious objections on the name of Ejaz Chaudhry but deliberations are required to bring a consensus and uncontroversial figure to the important slot of Chairman NAB.
