RAWALPINDI: Chief of the Army Staff General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani on Tuesday visited the troops deployed in forward localities along the line of control (LoC).

According to a press release issued by the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Tuesday, the Army Chief showed complete satisfaction on the state of morale, operational preparedness and vigil being maintained by troops on front line.

The Army Chief also paid rich tributes to the supreme sacrifices of the officers and men of Pakistan Army along LoC.

Earlier, on arrival at LoC, COAS was briefed by local formation commander on the prevailing security situation and high state of alert being maintained by own troops.
