ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The federal government is providing state-of-the-art healthcare, the latest educational and residential facilities to labourers and their children.  

According to a senior official of the Workers Welfare Fund (WWF), basic and modern residential facilities would be available to workers in various workers’ colonies across the country.

Talking to APP, he said free education including books, stationery, transport and uniforms were also being provided to the workers’ children in schools.

“Special attention is being paid to solve the labour problems and public facilitation centres have been established in every department,” he said.

The government has directed all the labour formations to complete ongoing developmental projects launched by the their respective Labour Department, whereas new welfare schemes will also be initiated specially for the provision of modern education to children of labourers and residential facilities to them.

The official further said that all basic and modern residential facilities would be available to workers in various workers’ colonies.
