KARACHI: A blast took place in Tariq Road area of Karachi and subsequent fire burnt down two vehicles in one of the busy market places of the metropolis on Tuesday, no causalities were reported in the incident.

Police claimed that it was cylinder blast which occurred in a vacant plot located on Khalid Bin Walid road off Tariq Road. Two of the vehicles parked on the plot caught fire following the blast.


Police and rescue teams arrived at the site and called fire tenders to extinguish the blaze.
