SocialAdvocate Salman Akram Raja files petition for bail in LHC

LAHORE: A petition was filed in the Lahore High Court (LHC) on Wednesday by advocate Salman Akram Raja for bail in a case registered against him under the Telegraph Act.

On Tuesday, a case was registered against advocate Salman Akram Raja in Secretariat police station for allegedly threatening Justice Jawad S Khawaja of the Supreme Court through a mobile text message.

The reports said that renowned advocate Senator Aitzaz Ahsan, office bearers of the Lahore High Court Bar and a large number of senior lawyers also accompanied Salman Akram Raja for his moral support on the occasion of his filing the petition.
