Sindh govt to generate 672 megawatts electricity daily from garbage

KARACHI, Pakistan: The Sindh government is starting a project to generate 672 megawatts electricity daily from 2,000 tons garbage of Karachi city.

An official of the power department said that feasibility report of the project has been prepared and it will be completed within 30 months.

The project is a joint venture of Sindh government and the US based Princeton Environment Group.
