‘World Accreditation Day’ 2014

ISLAMABAD: The ‘World Accreditation Day’ is being celebrated worldwide on Monday (June 9) with its theme “Accreditation: Delivering Confidence in the Provision of Energy”.

The day is a global initiative jointly established by the International Accreditation Forum (IAF) and International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC) to raise awareness of the importance of accreditation-related activities.

Major events, press campaigns, workshops and seminars are taking place today in over 90 countries to raise awareness of the value that accreditation plays in delivering confidence in the provision of energy.

In his message on the occasion, President Mamnoon Hussain expressed the confidence that the observance of this day would further highlight the importance of accreditation process towards ensuring provision of quality products and services.
