PM’s youth skill development programme launched across country

ISLAMABAD: The prime minister’s youth skill development programme has been kicked off at 350 technical and vocational training institutes across the country, under which 25,000 unemployed youth will be imparted training in different trades.

In a statement on Tuesday, a spokesperson of the national vocational and technical training commission said that Rs 3,000 will be given to selected trainees from FATA as monthly stipends, while others will be given Rs 2,000.

The training also includes one-month on job training while in some trades, free tool-kits will be given to the trainees.

The program, which is realization of the prime minister’s resolve to equip our youth with better skills and appropriate employment, has simultaneously been launched in all four provinces, Gilgit Baltistan and Azad Kashmir.

We will continue to provide the Armed Forces of Ukraine with the necessary support," the Czech Foreign Minister emphasized.
