PIA reduces fares on Umrah, some domestic sectors

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan International Airline (PTA) on the directions of the prime minister has reduced its fares on Umrah and some domestic sectors to pass the benefit of reduced petroleum prices to the customers.

The reduction in airfares for Umrah is as follows: North (Punjab, AJK, Gilgit-Baltistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa) by Rs 6,000 from Rs 72,000 to Rs 66,000.

The airfare for South (Sindh, Balochistan) has also been slashed by Rs 6,000 from Rs 60,000 to Rs 54,000.

The fares on domestic sectors including Multan, Faisalabad, Peshawar, Quetta and Dera Ghazi Khan have been reduced by Rs 2,000.
