Sindh Rangers say political party involved in sectarian killings in Karachi

KARACHI: The Sindh Rangers said on Saturday that a political party is involved in ongoing wave of sectarian killings in Karachi that has left 10 persons killed in various parts of the metropolis in the last 24 hours.

In a statement, the Sindh Rangers spokesman Major Sibtain claimed that they have found evidences which suggest that a political party is involved in the latest wave of target killing in Karachi.

The spokesman said that the aim of such attempts is to spoil the peace situation and create instability in the business hub.

The Sindh Rangers spokesman further said that they would soon apprehend criminals involved in such heinous crimes.

Meanwhile, tension gripped the area of Gulshan-e-Iqbal where infuriated people came out on Rashid Minhas Road and blocked the traffic by burning tyres in protest against killing of two seminary students.

Likewise, the traffic was also suspended on the main roads leading to Nipa and Gulshan Chowrangi.
