KARACHI: The Sindh government has decided computerized verification of all the arm licenses issued in Karachi, Additional Home Secretary Malik Khawaja told Justice Sindh High Court Justice Mushir Alam. Khawaja said the provincial government has prepared a policy to control illegal arms.

As per the new policy, the person holding licensed arms are bound to verify the documents in the due time, or else the license will be cancelled. A citizen could not hold more than four arm licenses at a time.

The additional secretary further said biometric system will be installed at Super Highway and National highway besides all the entrance routes of Karachi to verify the thumb impression of all the passengers, entering in the city.
