DADU: As many as 62 villages have been inundated in Dadu and Jamshoro districts due to flood in River Indus.

According to the Deputy Commissioners Dadu and Jamshoro districts, 40 villages in the katcha area of Dadu and 22 villages in Jamshoro have been inundated due to water rise in river Indus.

The Deputy Commissioners said that district administration has set up 141 relief camps to provide shelter to the marooned people.

River Chenab at Punjnad and River Ravi at Sidhnai are in high flood but the water level is falling.

According to the data released by the Flood Forecasting Division‚ River Indus at Guddu is in medium flood and rising. River Indus at Chashma‚ Sukkur and Kotri and River Sutlej at Islam are in Low Flood.
