Islamabad, Pakistan: Saadi Shirazi, also known as Sheikh Saadi, believed that anarchists can destroy states and societies, but ultimately, anarchists succumb to self-inflicted injuries. This is what the founding chairman of PTI is facing.
It is evident now that the party is suffering the consequences of the kind of politics of anarchy it injected in Pakistan. Former Prime Minister Imran Khan tried to destabilize the country by force, through protests and violence, but the result was that this person is now standing in a dead end. A few days ago, he had instructed all the leaders of his party to set up a protest camp outside Adiala Jail, but no decision has been taken yet regarding the holding of this protest camp.
According to PTI insiders, a meeting of the party was also held following the instructions of Imran Khan, which lasted for about five to six hours, but in this meeting, a division was clearly seen within the party and it has been proven that the party is divided into several groups. One group has reservations regarding such a protest, while the other group wants to set up a protest camp outside Adiala Jail at all costs.
Insiders have confirmed that during the meeting, the group that is in favor of setting up a protest camp outside Adiala Jail thinks that the party has a two-thirds majority in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly, also has a good number of members in the Punjab Assembly, and the National Assembly. If these people come here and participate in the protest camp, PTI will be able to put pressure on the government, and if this is not done, the government will keep us under pressure in the same way, and will not allow the party to hold any kind of protest.
The position of the other group in this PTI meeting is completely different, and this group, in a way, completely rejected the proposal of the founder PTI and other members that the party should set up a protest camp outside Adiala Jail. This group is of the view that if a party sets up the protest camp, it will be more harmful for PTI. This group also has the position that if PTI workers here once again commit mischief like May 9, then more problems may arise for the party. This group made it clear that there is no doubt that mischief can happen and a serious attempt can also be made by the workers to break the jail, which will lead to further problems for party little political space that the party has got will also end and we will face a new problem and get into difficulties.
In this regard, if it is said that the founder of PTI and his mischievous thinking have completely divided the party, it would not be wrong. Could anyone have thought that a time would come when voices would be raised from within PTI itself to disobey the instructions of the founder of PTI? Could anyone have thought that the founder of PTI would be divided by his own followers on the protest call outside Adiala Jail?
All this is happening because now a group of PTI has understood that the path of mischievousness that the founder and the group with a hard-line policy have chosen is only increasing the problems for the party.
