LAHORE: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has said that coal based projects should immediately be started to generate electricity.
Chairing a meeting on energy crisis in Lahore today‚ he said coal is not only a cheaper source of generating electricity but it will also help save furnace oil and reduced the electricity shortfall.
Nawaz Sharif ordered to speed up work on Neelum Jhelum project. The prime minister said it is the utmost effort of the government to rid the people of power outages at the earliest.
