Islamabad, Pakistan: The recent offer of the founding chairman of PTI has exposed further the duplicity and confusion he is known for. On the one hand, he talks about reconciliation with the army, on the other hand, he keeps abusing state institutions through his official X account, which is the highest example of hypocrisy.
It appears that neither the official account PTI is in his reach nor his party’s X social media account is in his control. Both these accounts are run by Gibran Ilyas sitting in a foreign land and he shares the same content that the Zionist and Indian powers want because they are the biggest sponsors of this party, so the content of their choice is shared which not only State institutions, their top leadership may be questioned and chaos may also arise in the country.
It is worth noting that in the content shared from the official account of Imran Khan, he talks about negotiations with the army on the one hand and insults the courts on the other hand. He does not know that if there was a desire for negotiations from the other side, then he could have put forward the demands.
The Pakistan Army’s position regarding May 9 was made very clear that there is only one condition for negotiations, and that is a sincere apology for the May 9 vandalism. This demand has come out in a very clear manner in the press conference of DG ISPR on May 9 that this anarchist group should first apologize for the events of May 9 and after that any discussion, if any, should be done, it will happen with the government.
Moreover, Imran Khan made another ridiculous demand which is a reversal of everything, and placed him back in power. If he thinks that the elections in 2024 were rigged, there are election tribunals established and he should move to the tribunals instead of dragging the army in the situation that has told several times that it is no more part of the politics.
Another demand is the release of prisoners for which there is a judicial process. PTI miscreants attacked state institutions on May 9, burnt memorials of martyrs, are locked up and have cases against them which can only be released legally.
The third demand is for elections. When the elections were held on February 8 transparently and peacefully and the people rejected PTI’s anarchic narrative, can the country of economic problems afford repeated elections, and then what is the guarantee that it will be defeated in the future? After that, will you accept the results or not?
The content shared by Imran Khan’s official X account also insulted judges of the Supreme Court. He said that the Chief Justice of Islamabad High Court that he is biased. Despite filing my reference, they are hearing my and Bushra Bibi’s cases. Founder PTI sometimes mistrusts Chief Justice Islamabad High Court, sometimes Chief Justice Supreme Court.
The demands put forward by the founding PTI are as meaningless and highly absurd as the allegations and assumptions made by it in the last two years are nothing but rubbish.
There is no doubt left that Khan and his associated leaders are deeply indecisive and this is the reason for the internal disruption and disintegration of the party. It seems that the authority of the party is slowly coming out of the hands of the founder PTI and he is now suffering from extreme duplicity as the public reaction is not in his favor. On the one hand, some leaders of this party talk of reconciliation, and the same party’s social media and official accounts are insulting the institutions. For the past week, the political circles on the media have been giving indications of reconciliation with the institutions and top leadership on behalf of PTI and other party leaders and the message was also circulating that PTI has no fight with the army while the government is trying to create a rift between the army. On the other hand, PTI’s official social media account is constantly spewing venom against the state institutions, especially the Pakistan Army. Were the PTI’s political leaders, especially Umar Ayub and Aleema Khan indication of friendship with the state institutions, not by the will of the founding PTI? And if this message is being conveyed by the will of the founder PTI, then who is insulting the state institutions on the official social media? PTI’s official X account is once again circulating threatening messages against institutions.
