RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: The security forces killed four terrorists and also apprehended an injured one in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Lakki Marwat District.

The Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said that the on the night of October 19/20, 2023, the security forces conducted an Intelligence-Based Operation (IBO) in Semu Wanda area of Lakki Marwat District on reported presence of terrorists.

During conduct of the operation, an intense fire exchange took place between the troops and the terrorists, resultantly four terrorists were sent to hell while one terrorist got injured and was apprehended by the security forces.

The ISPR said that these terrorists remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities against security forces as well as target killing of innocent civilians.

During the operation, a cache of arms, equipment and explosives was also recovered.

The ISPR said that locals of the area appreciated the operation and expressed their full support to eliminate the menace of terrorism.
