LAHORE, Pakistan: The launching of the poetry book titled “Mera Unvaan Tum Ho” by the famous writer Naheed Iqrar will take place at the Adabi Baithak at Alhamra Art Centre in Lahore on Thursday, October 19, 2023.

Khalid Sharif and Tauqir Ahmad Sharifi will preside the launch of the book while Rabia Rahman and Zaib Un Nisa will serve as the moderators.

In the launching of the book, the special guests will include famous poet Shoaib Bin Aziz, Ahmed Aleem, Dr. Badar Munir, and senior journalist Agha Iqrar Haroon whereas Saleem Hasan, Akhtar Sindhu, Aitbar Sajid and senior journalist Iftikhar Ahmad will be the guests of honor.

The keynote speakers will include Zaib Un Nisa, Ruqiya Akbar, Kanwal Behzad, and Shaheen Ashraf.

The Chairman Qalam Dost Tanzeem Isar Rana is also expected to grace the event.

Hailing from a famous literary family of Pakistan, Naheed Iqrar has been writing poetry for the last 40 years and had been the editor of her college magazine in early 80s.

Naheed Iqrar is a popular voice of Radio Pakistan and has been awarded the Outstanding Voice status from Radio Pakistan Lahore Station.

By profession, a Radio Broadcaster, Naheed earned her master’s degrees in Urdu literature and Philosophy from the Government College Lahore (now known as GCU).

Her book “Mera Unvaan Tum Ho” is available at Mavra Publishers, 60 Shahrah-e-Quaid-e-Azam, Lahore.
