ISLAMABAD: Federal Information Minister Parvez Rasheed has said that the opposition leader will be consulted adequately over appointment of new NAB Chief.

Parvez Rasheed said while talking informally with journalists at the Parliament House in Islamabad this day that the government has proposed one name of that candidate for NAB Chief, who awarded life imprisonment to the PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif.

All constitutional and legal requirements for appointment of NAB Chief will be fulfilled completely as government wants to make accountability process transparent, added the Information Minister.

Parvez Rasheed said that the opposition leader will be consulted adequately on appointment of new NAB Chief; the government has sent two names suggested to him in the mailed letter and now his reply is awaited.
