ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League -Nawaz (PML-N) leader Khawaja Asif says Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will address the nation in a few days to share his economic plan and priorities.

Talking to newsman, he said the Prime Minister will also announce the contours of the government’s plan of overcoming energy crisis during his address.

Khawaja Asif‚ who is likely to be assigned the Ministry of Water and Power in the federal cabinet‚ said the country is facing five hundred billion rupees of circular debt while the corruption mafia is also active in the Ministry of Water and Power.

He said their government will weed out corruption in the Water and Power sector to provide low cost electricity to the consumers.

Khawaja Asif said a cabinet committee headed by Prime Minister will be formed to specially look into energy related issues.
