QUETTA: Mir Jan Jamali and Mir Abdul Quddus elected unopposed Speaker and Deputy Speaker as other candidates withdrew their nominations.
PML-N leader Mir Jan Muhammad Jamali and PML-Q’s Mir Abdul Quddus will take oath as Speaker and Deputy Speaker of Balochistan Assembly at a specially convened session of the provincial assembly in Quetta today.
The outgoing Speaker Syed Matiullah Agha will administer oath to Mir Jan Muhammad Jamali as new Speaker. Later‚ Jamali will administer oath to Mir Abdul Quddus.
