LAHORE: Pakistan Imran Khan has condemned killing of PTI woman leader in Karachi and announced countrywide protests against this incident.

Imran Khan said in his video-linked message from the hospital that he feels extremely sad over killing of Zara Appa and he would not spare those who are responsible of her killing.

Imran Khan praised courage of the PTI workers for continuing their protest against rigging in polls while giving them message for getting ready for a larger sit-in in Islamabad.

The PTI Chief announced to launch protest against Zara Shahid’s killing across the country and in London simultaneously.

Imran Khan also pointed out at key suspects of the killing in his stern condemnation over PTI woman leader’s killing.

Earlier Saturday night, PTI Sindh Chapter’s Senior Vice President, Zara Shahid, was targeted by some unknown armed motorbike riders near her home in Phase-IV of Defense Housing Society.

The armed attackers shot her in her chin and the bullet ripped through her face and skipped from the back of skull.

She was immediately moved to National Medical Center in Phase-I of Defense Housing Society, where she succumbed to injuries.

Later on, her dead body was moved to Jinnah Hospital for postmortem. The police have launched probe into the incident under two probabilities including street crime incident and target killing.
