Government of PakistanPakistan is guarantor of rights of minorities: Dr Firdous

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Prime Minister’s Special Assistant on Information and Broadcasting Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan has said that the rights of minorities are fully safe in new Pakistan of Prime Minister Imran Khan and they are being provided with equal opportunities to excel in their lives.

In a series of tweets on Monday, Dr Firdous said that however the minorities of India are protesting against the prejudice and discriminatory law of citizenship. She said that the controversial citizenship law is manifestation of the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s hatred against Muslims.

The Special Assistant said that the people have revolted against the hatred of Modi who, she added, will not succeed in his nefarious design to divert the world’s attention from the oppression and persecution being perpetrated against minorities in India.

Firdous Ashiq Awan said that the people of Indian Occupied Jammu & Kashmir (IOJ&K) are also facing continued curfew and the clouds of death are hovering in the held valley.

Dr Firdous said that the entire world is witnessing that Modi wants to implement the Hindutva ideology by pursuing its fascist mindset.
