JEDDAH, Saudi Arabia: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Thursday reached Jeddah on two-day visit to Saudi Arabia, wherein he met His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohamed bin Salman, the Dispatch News Desk (DND) news agency reported.

During the meeting, the two leaders discussed Pakistan-Saudi Arabia bilateral relations and issues of mutual interest.

The prime minister apprised the Saudi Crown Prince about the latest situation in the Indian Occupied Kashmir.

Imran Khan also condemned the recent attack on Saudi Oil Installations.

The Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi, the Prime Minister’s Adviser on Finance and Revenue Dr Abdul Hafeez Shaikh, the Prime Minister’s Special Assistant on Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development Syed Zulfiqar Bukhari, the Foreign Secretary Sohail Mahmood, and Pakistan’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Raja Ali Ejaz were also present in the meeting.

Earlier in the day, the Governor of Makkah Khalid bin Faisal Al Saud received Prime Minister Imran Khan on his arrival at Royal Terminal of Jeddah for a two-day visit to Saudi Arabia.

During his two-day stay in Saudi Arabia, the prime minister will discuss with the Saudi leadership ways of further strengthening the economic partnership between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.

The prime minister will also discuss with them the various dimensions of the grave situation in Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, arising from India’s illegal and unilateral actions of August 5, 2019.

From Saudi Arabia, Prime Minister Imran Khan will leave for New York on September 21 to attend the 74th Session of the United Nations General Assembly.
