ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The International Women’s Day Cycling Rally will be organized in Islamabad on March 24.

The rally will start from Faisal Mosque and enter F-6 Markaz via main Margalla road, from where it will be moved towards Faisal Mosque again and have the ending remarks and interviews.

The cycling rally will be organized by Reality Beyond Dreams with the collaboration of Samar Camp.

Its objective is to #BalanceForBetter & to claim public spaces, create safe spaces for women in the country, say no to street harassment, to promote recreational and sports activities while having fun rolling and celebrating ‘International Women’s Day’.

The registration process to participate in the rally continues. Rs 1,000 is being charged as the registration fee. Bicycles and drinks will be provided at the spot.

However, in case a participant bring his/her won personal bicycle, the registration charges will be Rs 500.

Meanwhile, the International Women’s Day is being observed today (March 8, 2019) to raise awareness against gender bias and to take action for equality.

This year’s theme of the Day is “Think equal, build smart, innovate for change”.
