ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: As December 25 is approaching fast, various events to mark the Christmas have begun being organized in the Federal Capital.

In this regard, the Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police also held a Christmas Celebration at Police line Headquarters in Islamabad.

The event was organized for the honor of Christian’s brethren serving in Islamabad Police.

Besides holding the Christmas Cake Cutting Ceremony, Christmas Songs were sung and a Christmas Tree was erected.

The appearance of a Santa Clause also featured in the Celebration.

In their remarks on the occasion, the Islamabad Police Officials felicitated the Christian Community on the Day, and shed lights on the life of Prophet Isa (Jesus Christ).

They also underlined the need to follow the life and teachings of Prophet Isa. They said that His message of peace and humanity must be spread across the globe as well as acted upon.

Earlier on Thursday, Lok Virsa also held Christmas Celebrations in Islamabad to express a message of solidarity and unity with the Christian Community from a cultural perspective.
