RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: A five-member Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC) delegation led by the Managing Director PTDC Chaudhry Abdul Ghafoor Khan on Monday left for Mashhad, a City in northeast Iran.

The visit of the PTDC delegation was being undertaken on invitation of the Director General of Cultural Affair of Pilgrims Affair for Khorasan Razavi Province Hamid Mosavi.

During the tour, the managing director PTDC will meet his counterparts in Iran as well as heads of Chambers Of Commerce and Industry to offer investment opportunities in tourism sector of Pakistan.

Chaudhry Abdul Ghafoor will also participate in the official celebration of OIC City of Tourism “Tabriz” 2018, which is scheduled to be held on April 25.

Other members of the delegation include the General Manager PTDC Ali Akbar Malik, the Tourism Officer Arshad Ali and the Tourism Coordinator Rashid Umar۔

Earlier in January 2018, a 12-member Iranian delegation led by Hamid Mosavi visited Pakistan to discuss tourism and cultural cooperation with the managing director PTDC.

Pakistani delegation’s visit is also a sequel of the meetings.
