ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The demand of decorative ornaments has increased across the Country as jubilant faithful are planning to celebrate Eid Milad-un-Nabi (Peace Be Upon Him) falling on Friday (Dec 1 2017).

The markets are bristling with shoppers purchasing different decorative items to celebrate the festive occasion with all their heart and soul.

The vendors selling banners, badges, stickers, flags and fancy lights are doing brisk business these days.

A vendor Ahmad Mukhtar, who was selling stickers and flags, said that particularly children are enthusiastically purchasing buntings, posters, stickers and flags to decorate their houses and vehicles.

The business of these items at all big shops as well as roadside vendors has reached its peak, which shows the zeal of people belonging to all ages for the upcoming festival, he added.

A vendor Noman Faisal informed that passion among the people especially youth is increasing as the festival approaching fast.

A buyer Fatima Tahir said, “Every year we decorate our street and adjoining areas for marking the upcoming most sacred occasion of birth of Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH)”.
