KARACHI, Pakistan: Sindh Minister for Health Jam Mehtab Hussain Dahar has said that a rapid and well equipped ambulance service is being introduced in five districts of Sindh in first phase in collaboration with Aman Foundation.

The ambulance service will gradually be extended in other districts of the province in the second phase.

This he said while talking to a delegation of Aman Foundation here in his office, said a statement on Thursday.

Chief Executive, Aman Foundation, Dr Sadia, Secretary Health Dr Saeed Ahmed Mangnejo and DG Health, Hasan Murdad Shah also attended the meeting.

The Minister said that in the first phase, five district Ghotki, Sukkur, Khairpur, Shikarpur and Larkana would be made model city and well equipped ambulances would be established. He added that as many as 60 ambulances would be kept ready to facilitate the needy.

Aman Foundation will assist and provide technical and logistic support to health department, he said.
