ABBOTTABAD, Pakistan: Deputy Commissioner Abbottabad, Khalid Mahmood said that provincial government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) has issued 217 million rupees for the beautification of Abbottabad.

Addressing a Jirga of Tanawal Welfare Society here Wednesday DC Abbottabad said that the place where Sherwan Bus Stop was operational is the land of Tehsil Municipal Administration where they had a plane to make multi story parking plaza which will provide a huge space for the parking and dozens of shops would also benefit business community.

Two other multi story plazas are also under consideration those would resolve the traffic issues of Abbottabad city and also bring back the beauty of the city, adding the DC said.

Members of Tanawal Welfare Society appreciated the developmental work in Abbottabad and beautification of the city.

They demanded to provide a suitable place for Sherwan bus stand in the city area.

DC Abbottabad ensured the association that they will follow the  decision made by the committee about Sherwan Bus Stop. He further said that they will not allow anybody to interfere in the developmental work of Abbottabad city.
