ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: A report comprising the details regarding the new registered and disposed off cases by the apex courts during the tenure of current government was presented to the National Assembly on Wednesday.

To a question, the House was informed in written by the ministry concerned that Lahore High Court was on top amongst other apex courts of the country for disposing off 355,345 cases while 348,567 new cases were registered.

Supreme Court of Pakistan disposed off 38,085 cases and registered 41,407 new cases, Sindh High Court disposed off 63,275 and registered 86,973, Peshawar High Court disposed off 49,474 and registered 50,764, Balochistan High Court disposed off 9,391 and registered 10,131 new, and Islamabad High Court disposed off 16,119 cases and registered 19,474 cases during the tenure of current government.
