SocialRailcop, FWO sign MoU to improve railway infrastructure

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The construction company of Pakistan Railways known as Railcop and Frontier Works Organization (FWO) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Thursday for improvement of railway infrastructure.

Managing Director Railcop (a subsidiary company of Ministry of Railways) Aamir Nisar Chaudhry and Brigadier Muhammad Sultan from FWO signed this MoU.

Federal Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique Director General FWO Major General Muhammad Afzal, Secretary Ministry of Railway Perveen Agha, Advisor Railway Anjum Pervez, Secretary Railway Board Aftab Akbar and senior officials were present on the occasion.

Federal Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique said that it is in interest of both organizations to work for improvement of railway infrastructure. He said that FWO delivered best services in difficult times and it people sacrificed their lives in the line of duty.

The minister said it has been decided to get the services of our own organizations rather than depending on foreign companies. He hoped it will pave way for overall improvement in railway system.
