SocialMini bus service facility for Raiwind Ijtima 2015

LAHORE, Pakistan: Lahore Transport Company with private transport operators will provide mini bus service to the commuters for participation in Raiwind congregation (Ijtima).

A spokesman of LTC said here on Tuesday that mini buses will operate in the first phase from November 5 to November 8 while in second phase from November 12 to November 15.

The existing routes have been realigned provisionally for the smooth operation of public transport. However, shuttle service will be plied from Raiwand pandaal to Main Raiwand Road.

In accordance with operation plan, buses will operate in parallel on two different routes.

Route-1 will commence from General bus stand Railway Station via Dharampura, Canal Road, Muslim Town Mor, Thokar Niaz Baig, and Bhobtian Chowk to Raiwand. Whereas, Route-2 will start from General Bus Stand Azadi Chowk via Civil Secretariat, Chuburji, Samnabad Moor, Yateem Khana, Thokar Niaz Baig and Bhobtian Chowk to Raiwand congregation.

The operation departments will remain in close liaison with the allied departments and transport operators during Raiwind Ijtima, the spokesman added.
