RAWALPINDI: The Pakistan army on Thursday expressed the resolve to establish the government’s writ in the North Waziristan tribal region, and said that all terrorists including local and foreign will be eliminated.

At a briefing at the General Headquarters in Rawalpindi on Thursday, the Director General ISPR Major General Asim Saleem Bajwa said that the terrorists were using Afghan Subscriber Identity Modules (SIMs), which have been banned.

The DG ISPR expressed the determination that the military operation Zarb-e-Azb will continue till the complete elimination of terrorists.

Bajwa said that till now no ground operation has been launched in North Waziristan and only aerial operation is being carried.

Moreover, he said that the entire nation will have to play its role for the cause of the country.
