The security forces killed 12 terrorists of Fitna al-Khawarij in South and North Waziristan districts of Khyber Paktunkhwa province.
However, six security forces personnel also embraced martyred in the exchange of fire with terrorists.
In his statement, the Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi commended the security forces for eliminating 12 Khawarij terrorists in South and North Waziristan districts.
Paying tribute to the six brave soldiers of the security forces who were martyred in the clashes with terrorists, the minister expressed his heartfelt condolences and sympathy to the families of the martyrs.
The interior minister said that the Khawarij terrorists launched a cowardly attack under the cover of night. However, he added, six valiant soldiers of Pakistan’s security forces sacrificed their lives for the homeland, sending the Khawarij terrorists to a humiliating end.
The minister saluted the soldiers of the security forces who thwarted the nefarious plans of the Khawarij terrorists. He emphasized that the martyrs are a source of pride and honor for the nation, and their great sacrifices will never be forgotten.
Mohsin Naqvi further said that the nation’s firm resolve to crush the heads of the Khawarij terrorists cannot be defeated. He assured the families of the martyrs that the nation stands with them and shares their grief.
The minister affirmed that the nation is united with the security forces in the fight against the scourge of terrorism.
