RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: The security forces conducted an Intelligence-Based Operation (IBO) in Kulachi area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Dera Ismail Khan District on Wednesday.

The Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said that during the conduct of the operation, intense fire exchange took place between own troops and terrorists, resultantly one terrorist was sent to hell while one got injured.

Weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the killed terrorist who remained actively involved in terrorist activities against security forces and killing of innocent civilians.

The ISPR said that locals of the area appreciated the operation. It said that the sanitization of the area is being carried out to eliminate any other terrorists found in the area.
