LAHORE: The Punjab law minister Rana Mashhood said on Tuesday that the provincial government has decided to establish a volunteer force for the relief and rehabilitation of persons displaced by the military operation Zarb-e-Azb in the North Waziristan tribal region.

In a statement in Lahore, the minister said that about 7,000 displaced persons have reached Punjab.

The law minister said that the Punjab government will give Rs68,700 to each displaced family of North Waziristan.
