Islamabad, Pakistan: PTI founder Imran Khan while talking to media representatives on September 10, 2024, categorically supported Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur for using abusive language against journalists and women.
Khan who is contesting the forthcoming election for Chancellor of the University of Oxford is infamous for passing sexist comments and abusive language against women in the past. However, an important clause has been removed from the election that would surely help Khan to contest the election that clause was that the University’s Election Committee had the right to strike off candidates not considered “suitable”. This cancellation may be in connection with giving safe passage to Imran Khan to contest the election.
Journalistic cadre of Pakistan thought that Khan would condemn vulgar language used by Ali Amin Gandapur in the public meeting in Islamabad because Khan is going to contest for a prestigious position in Europe, however, it looks like Khan does not care what educated people would think about him because he is confident that the House of Goldsmiths is behind him and would manage his success in the election for Chancellor of the University of Oxford and cancellation of clause is being referred to supporting Khan whose candidature could be contested due to his personality having a track record of living weird life.
Almost all journalist’s rights organizations condemned the language Gandapur again used against a female cadre of journalism and journalists observed a walkout who was covering the National Assembly. Journalists’ bodies, including the National Press Club (NPC), Karachi Press Club (KPC), and Rawalpindi-Islamabad Union of Journalists (RIUJ) strongly condemned the use of vulgar and vile language by Gandapur against the journalist community, especially women but the former prime minister and candidate for prestigious election for Chancellor of the University of Oxford supported what Gandapur said about women.
Some journalists sitting in the National Press Club on Tuesday claimed that insult of women is deep-rooted in PTI politics that is based on the man-chauvinist personality of Imran Khan and Ali Amin Gandapur’s speech is proof that the entire script of the speech was a reflection of the mind of a mentally disturbed person founding chairman of the party. There is no doubt that the founder of PTI is a man full of mental disorder, free from limits and limitations, possessing scattered ideas, for whom law or constitution or social boundaries have no meaning.
When media representatives informed Imran Khan that PTI leaders were apologizing for the abusive language Ali Amin Gandapur used, Imran Khan replied that those who were apologizing were cowards. This reply once again proved that there is a difference between his narrative and the narrative of his party leaders and the gap between the two is widening Khan has no respect for women as mentioned by several female members of PTI. According to some PTI circles, after the failure of all tactics, Khan suffered from depression because the situation between his sister and his wife was also getting out of proportion and Aleema Khan and Bushra’s quarrel made him more mentally ill. What would be a greater proof of his mental illness than the fact that the contradictions in his statements and his mental problems are evident in the daily conversations with the media representatives?
Such a person who is known for his extramarital relations, a daughter from his unregistered relations with Sita White, a recent audio sex leak, and his third marriage fiasco is going to contest for the position of Chancellor of the University of Oxford that had been served by figures such as Oliver Cromwell, the Duke of Wellington, and former prime minister Harold Macmillan. Khan is one of the candidates such as Peter Mandelson, William Hague, the university’s Pro Vice-Chancellor Lady Elish Angiolini, and East London bartender Ryan Ahmad. The incoming Chancellor will be elected to a term of 10 years through voting by “a convocation” of Oxford students, staff, and graduates. Meanwhile, an important clause has been removed that was the University’s Election Committee had the right to strike off candidates not considered “suitable”. This cancellation may be in connection with giving safe passage to Imran Khan to contest the election. Initial voting will take place in the week commencing 28 October, using the Alternative Vote system, which allows voters to rank candidates in order of preference. If the number of candidates is fewer than 10, there will be only one round of voting, and lower-ranking candidates will be eliminated until one candidate achieves 50% of the vote. If there are 10 or more candidates, a second round of voting will take place in November.
Meanwhile, Israeli media has already started to glorify Khan as the ‘right person for Israel’, and two articles were published in less than 15 days. Israel’s biggest and most popular news web page shockingly objects to arrests of PTI leaders over violation of the law.
This happened just a week after the Times of Israel (another popular newspaper of Israel) declared Imran Khan as a politician, most suited to accept Israel as a country in Pakistan. Imran Khan’s deep relationship with Jews and the Goldsmith family was given as a key reason.
It is unprecedented that for the first time, top-of-the-line hardcore Jewish newspapers (who always carry the Israeli government’s point of view) are coming openly to rescue Imran Khan when he faces jail time over grave corruption charges.
After having managed to get over 134 articles published in Western media, now Israeli media comes in full support of Imran Khan as a last-ditch effort. It leaves nothing to the imagination anymore that the in-laws of Khan who is one of the strongest Jewish groups are in full play in Pakistan to rescue Imran Khan.
