ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Federal Minister for Science and Technology Shibli Faraz has directed the Rectors of NUST, COMSATS, and NUTECH to start internship programs and bootcamps in coordination with the other organizations of the Ministry of Science and Technology.

In a meeting with the Rectors in Islamabad on Friday, the federal minister stressed the need for establishing proactive linkages between the Universities and Departments of the Ministry of Science and Technology in order to ensure optimal utilization of Human resource, laboratories and research and development installations.

The science and technology minister said that linkages between research and development organizations and universities is of pivotal importance.

Shibli Faraz added that all organizations of the ministry must synergize their efforts towards the skill development of our valuable human resource and capacity building of the dormant departments.
