UNITED NATIONS: The United Nations Security Council has adopted a resolution, urging all the states to block the flow of militants to other countries.

The resolution was unanimously approved by the 15-member council in a meeting chaired by the US President Barack Obama.

The meeting demanded of the governments to make it a serious criminal offense for their citizens to travel abroad to join militant groups for fighting or recruit and fund others for that purpose.
