Three including FC man killed in Quetta blast

QUETTA, Pakistan: A remote-controlled explosion occurred in the Satellite Town area of Quetta on Saturday morning, killing at least three persons including one Frontier Corps (FC) personnel and injuring 22 others.

The sources said that a convoy of the FC personnel was targeted in the blast.

The Superintendent of Police Imran Qureshi said that several shops and vehicles were also destroyed in the blast.

The injured which also including two FC personnel were shifted to Civil Hospital Quetta for medical treatment.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif strongly condemned the blast and expressed grief over the loss of precious lives. He directed the authorities concerned to provide best available medical treatment to the injured.
